78th INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION🇮🇳

On August 15th, 2024, our villagers came together to commemorate this momentous occasion with great fervor. The 78th Independence Day celebration at Rani Hitti Samaj began with a symbolic lighting of lamps, illuminating the path to freedom and unity. The event kicked off with a rousing rendition of the National Anthem, followed by a soulful song by Riyesh Sharma and an energetic dance performance by Eshana Pradhan. The celebration took a heartwarming turn as the Samaj honored its esteemed elderly members aged 70 and above, recognizing their contributions and achievements. My grandfather (mehmay) was among the distinguished recipients. Additionally, the youths who had actively participated in various co-curricular activities, including myself, Shreya and Ekta were awarded "AbhinandanPatras". The evening concluded with a joyous dance by Pritam and a thought-provoking speech by Deepika di, leaving a lasting impression on all in attendance.
