For our anniversary, we took a trip to Don Pedro lake and camped for two days. We really enjoy this campground. It’s pretty quiet during the winter season but fills up very full during the summer with a lot of boaters, fisherman, campers. It is one of our top five favorite places to go. Each campsite has great space in between themselves providing lots of privacy and a feeling that you’re not camping right on top of the person next to you. There are many different campsites available from dry camping, tent camping, full hook up sites, and even day sites. Every site has a fire pit and the dry sites have bear boxes. All sites have access to a source of water, also having access to bathrooms and showers. Our favorite thing to do here is ride our Lectric E bikes around the campground and find scenic spots to have picnics or quiet places to sit back and enjoy the view. The lake is massive and has great fishing for bass and trout. Its also a great lake for boating, wakeboarding, and riding your jet ski. There are a lot of houseboats on this lake, but they seem to stay in their coves for the most part. Give this campground a try if you’re ever looking for a great place to go, especially during the winter season. You won’t be disappointed.
