Watch the inaugural bus journey from Bengaluru to Trivandrum by Savistara Roadlines Scania Semi Sleeper bus. A long time since I did a Kerala Bus journey. This holiday season saw many buses being added due to the holiday rush. Savistara Roadlines introduced two Scania Semi Sleeper buses on its Bengaluru to Trivandrum route. The bus was almost full due to the festival season going on. It's always a pleasure to travel in Scania buses as they are very few of them running. I had also travelled earlier on same route by Murahara Scania Semi Sleeper bus. Since it was the inaugural journey, we had both the buses running today. First bus is a 6:45 pm bus and second is the 7:30 pm bus. However both the buses left almost the same.
There were so many overtakes along the way. Also some Chasing with the pairing bus. All bus fares were high due to high festival season. On this route you get to see the beautiful Tamil Nadu scenic landscapes. Especially from Madurai onwards. Buses get to maintain a good speed due to the good wide roads. We reached Thampanoor at 9:45 am, which was not bad inspite of the frequent delays. We overtook Kerala Lines Scania buses and also JSR Scania.
