Speaker 1: [00:00:01] I can't just sit in a classroom all day. I really want to actually see how the stuff works. SLU Really caters to the hands-on experience environment. We started getting hands-on opportunities less than a month in.

Speaker2: [00:00:14] You learn about how a plane flies, but actually building it from scratch and seeing it flies like, wow, I do get.

Speaker 1: [00:00:19] This is cool. Everything that I was learning in my classes was suddenly making so much sense.

Speaker 3: [00:00:24] I started doing research this last summer. This is hands-on, like we're developing methods to save lives as an undergrad, which is super awesome.

Speaker 1: [00:00:32] It's one of the most exciting things I think about college because like, I'm making a direct impact now. I've gotten real-world, hands-on experience, and that's led to internships a lot earlier.

Speaker 4: [00:00:41] When you actually go in for an interview for a job, you always kind of point to tangible things you've done in school, not just say, Oh, I know the theory behind it. You can say, Yeah, I saw the theory In practice

Speaker 1: [00:00:49]. You have that hands-on experience. This is probably the best place I could be.
