12 VALVE CONVERSION on my 24 VALVE CUMMINS (fuel filter delete)

I finally did the Cummins fuel filter delete and installed a 12 valve cummins fuel filter head on my 24 valve cummins truck. The 12 valve fuel filter head is compatible on cummins trucks ranging from the years 1989 to 2002. This fuel filter design is far better in my opinion because the fuel lines run right into the top of the filter head so they're easily accessible and the filter is easy to change by spinning it on or off the filter head. You guys asked what I was going to do when I did this fuel filter delete on my cummins and I planned on keeping it simple from the start. There are other options available to do this job, and I still plan on doing one more thing and adding one more fuel filter to the truck, but i wanted to keep a filter in the stock location as well. The stock fuel filter that comes on the 00-02 cummins trucks is just a poor design if you ask me, and is always having issues with leaking diesel fuel from the drain valve or the cap. No matter how many times I fixed my fuel leak, it always came back. The 12 valve fuel filter only has 3 spots that it can leak from and all of them are very easy to get to and fix if a leak ever does happen. There are a couple of drawbacks to doing this 12 valve fuel filter mod on your 2nd gen 24 valve cummins truck that I discuss in the video, and I also tell you some things you can do to work around those drawbacks. You will lose a couple features from your original fuel filter housing unless you make some other modifications while installing the 12 valve filter. Otherwise this filter is all plug n play if you have a aftermarket lift pump already installed on your truck. You just unhook the old and replace it with the new.
