History of the Manchus Part 1 (Early Origins)

A short video on the early origins of the Jurchens and Manchus. This video goes up to around 1100 CE.

Fun fact: speakers of southern Chinese and languages heavily influenced by China may notice that Mòjí and Mòhé sound similar. In Middle Chinese, Mòjí would have been pronounced something like /mɨut̚ kiɪt̚/, while Mòhé would have been pronounced something like /muɑt̚ kɑt̚/.

Also, I realized that it may not be clear in the video that the Liao dynasty was founded and ruled by the Khitans!
