How to make a log beehive for pollination. Log beehives are excellent for pollination efforts because once the log is established on your property and you leave them alone to do what bees do they go about their business setting the conditions inside the nest to optimize their chances of survival. After all they've been doing it for tens of thousands of years without our help. All you have to do is create more foraging habitat, reduce chemical use and set out more hollow logs. Eventually you 'll have more than enough honeybees to take care of your pollination needs.

Once a healthy log hive is established they will cast swarms year after year and occupy other hollow cavities natural or man made.

Focus on creating foraging and swarm habitat NOT over managing bees.
