Supine

-- TECHNIQUE --
► Begin by abducting the patient's shoulder and flexing their elbow to 90°
► Make sure to maintain the shoulder in neutral rotation at the beginning of this technique
► Slowly apply external rotation force to the patient's shoulder while monitoring the patient's response

-- POSITIVE TEST --
Patient apprehension during external rotation of the shoulder
