Ireland has over 100 wild bees, and one third of them are under threat due to the loss of habitat that provides them with food and shelter. Fortunately, there are simple steps we can take to help them.

In this video, Communities and Engagement Project Officer for the All-Ireland Pollinator Plan, Kate Chandler, talks about the top evidence-based actions recommended by the National Biodiversity Data Centre for helping these important insects.

The All-Ireland Pollinator Plan is implemented by the National Biodiversity Data Centre, which is a programme of the Heritage Council and is operated under a service level agreement by Compass Informatics. The Biodiversity Data Centre is funded by the Heritage Council and the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage.
