My pantry is located in my basement, where it is cook & dark. I have shelves, so that my jars can be in a single layer. Never stack your jars. Remove the rings
Jars can be stored in the original box or a jar box & stacked in that manner

When traveling, I take my home canned food. I use a jar box that is stored under the bed, in the RV
