Kayak Self Rescue - Heavy Kayak Self Recovery using a Jackson Coosa FD

Kayak self rescue requires rehearsal. Modern heavy sit on top fishing kayaks make kayak self recovery even more of a challenge, and you need to learn to the kayak flip line recovery method since it is the easiest way (in my opinion) to get a sit on top kayak right side up. If you want to know what to do if your kayak flips, start here and I encourage you to get professional training. I demo the technique using my Jackson Coosa FD, but this applies to any sit on top kayak self rescue situation! I am really impressed with the Jackson Coosa FD stability as it was hard to flip over to practice!
