Reading Tarot, The Way I LOVE TO👑♠️:
I personally like to consider myself an Intuitive Storyteller.
In so many ways, I am an intuitive reader. Which means as a reader the cards MAY or MAY NOT mean the same as another tarot reader’s interpretation, a tarot book description, etc.
A common question I’ve been asked is, “Do you read with reversals?” & the answer is Not Really… but when called to do with selected decks I’ve been called to read with “reversals”. I don’t call cards that are in an upside down position “reversals”, I call them “alternatives”. The name is inspired by the movies or films that have an “alternative ending”, which means just because the card is “reversed” it won’t always mean the opposite meaning. It’s such a breath of fresh air & it takes away the idea of there only being just the Light/Positive & Dark/Negative when it comes to readings.
You will notice I read in 3’s. There’s power in 3’s, one of the strongest shapes is a Triangle which is a 3-sided shape. Think about “Past, Present, Future”, or “1st Place, 2nd Place, 3rd Place”, etc. For me most importantly aligning with storytelling is “Beginning, Middle, & End/What’s Next?”.
Adapting & creating my own unique way to read tarot that’s comfortable for me wasn’t an easy thing to do, and at the same time wanting to give honest & informative readings. Bringing along the entertaining storyteller & the honest loving guidance from a close friend.
