Molloy College showed its Lion’s Pride on October 15th for this year’s Maroon Madness. Students, faculty, and staff packed into the Quealy gym for the electrifying event which kicked off the Men’s and Women’s 2015-2016 Basketball season. A spectacular rendition of the National Anthem began the event-filled night, which filled the entire gym with energy and excitement. Exhilarating performances from the Dance, Step, and Cheerleading teams, and the rousing introductions of both the Men’s and Women’s Basketball teams by Athletic Communications Director Rick Rissetto got the students on their feet. And from there, there was not a chance to sit back down. A dance-off, accompanied by a live DJ, a three-point shooting contest, a dunk contest, and a wing eating contest kept the lively crowd engaged all throughout the night and made this year’s Maroon Madness the best it has ever been.
