Today, I’m continuing to explore the different international cuisines available in my hometown of Miami and trying some French dishes! In particular, I’m trying French sandwiches! Join me as I try French street food in Miami, Florida!

For this food adventure, I headed to La Sandwicherie in the Coral Gables area of town. It’s an amazing sandwich spot on Giralda Avenue, a great pedestrian street in Miami. They have five locations in Miami, including this one, which is right next to my favorite burger place, Clutch Burger.

La Sandwicherie dates back to 1988, but this location is only 6 months old. They have a colorful bar with an ocean theme. They have some seating inside, but I suggest eating outside on their terrace! They’re famous for their French vinaigrette and their wide array of sandwiches.

I met the owner, Rachid, who mould me making me some sandwiches on baguettes and croissants. Their most popular is prosciutto and mozzarella on a croissant. They were also making me a second on a baguette. They use incredible fresh ingredients! I’d be having three sandwiches, a salad, and some juice!

These are huge sandwiches! For the salad, we added some salmon and fruit! Then, they made me a smoothie with strawberries, kiwis, blueberries, banana, peach juice, and ice. Then, Rachid asked me to try their veggie juice!

They topped off the sandwiches with their vinaigrette, which contains Dijon mustard, salt, pepper, and olive oil.

I had he Napoli sandwich with prosciutto and mozzarella, the Sobe with turkey and brie, and the Frenchie with French salami and brie and French vinaigrette. The salad contained salmon, avocado, green pepper, lettuce, cucumber, tomato, and more.

I jumped on the vegetable juice first, which was so good! I loved the carrot and ginger!

First was the Napoli, which was amazing, especially with the Dijon vinaigrette. The prosciutto and mozzarella was amazing, and the mountain of fresh vegetables was outstanding. I also loved the smooth and silky vinaigrette!

Next up was the Sobe, which was a monster! It also had pickles and was another loaded sandwich. I loved the Brie. It tasted exactly like France! It’s something you can eat quickly on the go and is the definition of fast-casual French street food!

The Frenchie is similar to the Sobe, except the Frenchie also contains cured meat and jalapenos peppers. It was spicy. I loved the salami flavor coming through and the freshness of all the vegetables. The baguette was nice and crunchy and the smoothness of the brie was fantastic. The vinaigrette took it to the next level. It was my favorite sandwich so far!

Next, I cleansed my palate with the smoothie. It was super refreshing with the strawberries and kiwi. It’s the type of thing I would add protein powder to and drink when I work out hardcore.

Then, it was time for the Exotic salad. The salmon, salami, avocados, fruits, and vegetables looked incredible. You can change the protein in it. They have lots of amazing options. The salad was so good and a little spicy, but the Dijon vinaigrette really sets it off! It gives you everything you need, nutrient-wise and flavor-wise. The salmon and avocado with the Dijon was the best!
