A DELEGATION OF 48TH STP PROBATIONARY PAS AND 12TH DS MCMC OFFICERS VISITED SSU HEADQUARTERS

A delegation of 70 officers, including Probationary Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS) Officers of the 48th Specialized Training Program (STP) and officers of the 12th Management Course (MCMC), visited the Special Security Unit (SSU) Headquarters.

The Commandant SSU Aamir Niazi briefed the delegation about the performance of various sections of SSU, the country's first Special Weapons and Tactics Team (S.W.A.T), and the advanced professional training imparted to the commandos.

DIG Security and Emergency Services Division Dr. Maqsood Ahmed, chairing a meeting on the occasion, emphasized the need for Pakistan’s police forces to enhance their capabilities through strengthened human resources, merit-based recruitment, and modern training practices to align with international standards of modern policing.

The visiting delegation toured different sections of the SSU and appreciated the high standards maintained in management, administration, and counter-terrorism operations.
