It is the first private educational institution in Uttar Pradesh to be granted an Autonomous Status by the UGC. Affiliated to A.P.J. According to NIRF 2020, NIET is ranked 49 for Pharmacy and is in the band of 201-250 among Engineering institutes in India. Also, the institute has been ranked in the Top 50 Institutes in India in the Private Higher Education Institutions category of the country by Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements (ARIIA) 2020. Data Quest ranked this institute as No. 1 Private Engineering College in Greater Noida in 2017. Also, it secured 7th position across North India in Times of India Ranking 2017.
