After a devastating water leak, Sue and John came to us looking not just for a new kitchen and utility - but a fresh start. Their vision was clear: to retain the familiar character of their home while embracing a brighter, more functional design.

The cabinetry is finished in Linen Wash by Little Greene, with a striking island in Farrow & Ball India Yellow - also echoed on the feature wall. Together, these tones bring warmth, contrast, and a renewed energy to the space.

A major part of the transformation was the addition of the bookcase and fridge wall - cleverly configured to accommodate a large fridge, freezer, and extra storage repurposed from the utility space. We also upgraded to a Bertazzoni range cooker while keeping the original layout, and the new island now offers nearly double the storage of its predecessor.

From concealed appliances to a more connected dining space and a thoughtfully reworked utility layout - every decision was made to simplify daily life, while keeping the heart of the home intact.

A beautiful reminder that thoughtful design can restore not just a space - but the feeling of home.
