Using Valgrind: Free Tools for Memory Management and Debugging

Have you ever encountered the "Segmentation fault" error when running your code? This and other common memory errors can be notoriously difficult to debug. Fortunately, there is a dedicated set of tools called Valgrind that can automatically detect many memory management and threading bugs, avoiding hours of frustrating bug-hunting. This session takes a closer look at the features and capabilities of Valgrind.
