Every year for the past 12 years the Susan Kathleen Black Foundation has held a large Workshop in the tiny town of Dubois, Wyoming... in the magnificent landscape of Wyoming high country... 40 miles south east of Yellowstone National Park. This Workshop specializes with in-depth artistic instruction from some of the very finest painters & sculptors in America today. One of specialties of the SKB Workshop is the training of artists in the fine art of Plein Air Painting directly from Nature. And as a unique component of this Workshop... they conduct additional in-depth training of the students from the local high school in Dubois. This video presents this year's outing where the SKB works closely with the local school and brings their students together for an intensive day-long training session with dozens of adult artist mentors from the SKB Workshop. And this unique training opportunity has created a magnificent enhancement to the local school Art Program with far reaching positive effects.
