In this video, we will learn how to implement android sidebar using Navigation View and Navigation Drawer. We will create a menu using XML files.

By using material design support library - sidebar can be implemented easily. We will create a menu, menu items and how to handle the click event of the menu item. setNavigationItemSelectedListener & onNavigationItemSelected are used to handle item selected event to perform actions on menu item click. You can also use icons for menu items using android:icon inside menu.xml file. We will learn how to create header inside navigation view via app:header_layout
