How to Set Up Bolt.New on Windows + Open Source Bolt.New Updates

Join me as I take you step-by-step through setting up Bolt.New on a Windows machine! 🚀 In this video, we'll cover some exciting updates about the open-source Bolt.New fork, including new contributors and features. We'll also dive into setting up Bolt.New locally on Windows, going over some of the challenges and how to overcome them. Whether you're using my hosted version or self-hosting, I'll walk you through the entire process so you can get started building full-stack apps right in your browser. 💡

Setup steps and commands:
1. Download and install Node.js from https://nodejs.org/
2. Download code from: https://github.com/wonderwhy-er/bolt....
3. Open the PowerShell in the code folder where package.json is by pressing ctrl+shift and right click, then open Power Shell
4. Run "npm install"
5. If you run into the same problem I did you will need to open as administrator and run "Set-ExecutionPolicy RemoteSigned" and try "npm install" again
6. Run "npm run preview"
7. Press "b" when it's finished
8. Get your key for Open Router here https://openrouter.ai/settings/keys
