NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — The U.S. Coast Guard is holding public hearings Tuesday into the loss of the Titan submersible last year.

The OceanGate Titan submersible suffered a catastrophic implosion on June 18, 2023 while diving to the wreck of the Titanic, resulting in the death of all five passengers.

The hearings will be held at the Charleston County Council Chambers on Bridge View Drive in North Charleston from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
