A while back I took a trip up to the NYMR, also known as The North Yorkshire Moors railways to see one of the countries top heritage railways in action. I've finally gotten round to editing some of the footage from that trip so now you can also experience how steam traction is being kept alive in this part of the country.

With a wide range of both steam and diesel locomotives in action, there's never a dull moment on the NYMR. Whether it's trains passing each other at Levisham, locomotives shunting at Grosmont, or mainline running on the line to Whitby - there's always something going on at The North Yorkshire Moors Railways.
