[Extended Release] The World Sinks Into Darkness (Tales of Xillia)

Well since things around these parts concerning Xillia have settled down for the most part, I spent some time the other day seeing if Xillia had any good music to offer. Of course, just like everything else I assumed about the game from the previews/early teaser trailers, the OST wasn't anything to write home about (perhaps due to Dark Souls?). Fortunately what was good turned out exceptionally so, especially considering this is Sakuraba and Tales hand-in-hand. This is probably the best track on the OST, imo, if only because it's genuinely unique for Sakuraba + Tales...or at least for his modern work in the series. Not to mention it's actually gasp a fairly consistent and directed track!

Would've been up earlier but YT derped. I'm not sure how many can agree with me about this track, but take this time to sit back, relax, and reflect on just how "great" Xillia turned out considering its status as 15th anniversary title anyway. Or just chill, whatever floats in your moat.

Disclaimer: No none of that copyright claim BS crap people always slap on to justify an upload. I just wanted to make clear that I hold great respect for Sakuraba as a composer, especially his ability to juggle multiple projects at once. Criticism of the weakness of an OST doesn't mean I place full blame on his abilities, since his adeptness should be obvious going by his past works.
