The HARDEST DIY project we ever tackled was this outdoor playhouse build. Between the excessive summer heat and the HOA drama, we almost quit many times on this project. However, we kept going because this was a special project for our 2 girls. We wanted to build them an outdoor tiny house where they could create memories for years to come. So, even though we practically built this twice and lost most of our decking in the process, thanks to our HOA, we couldn’t be prouder of what we accomplished. Content creation wasn’t our priority back when we built this playhouse and so I’m sharing as much footage as I found of the build. This includes the decking, framing, siding, and exterior painting. Part 2 will focus on the interior components of this playhouse project.
