Wicked City follows a coven of Brown witches in Atlanta as they navigate inherited magic, moral responsibility, and supernatural threats in a modern urban setting. The series begins with Camille, a young witch discovering her raw power, joining the coven led by Jordan, alongside Angela, Mona, and Sherise. Their early experiments with forbidden magic, including resurrection spells, trigger dangerous consequences that set the stage for conflict. As the story progresses, the coven faces internal divisions, betrayals, and manipulative forces, including The Handler, Claudette, and the Council, who wield authority without accountability.

In the final season, a supernatural epidemic called Fear Fever spreads, forcing the witches to confront unprocessed trauma, fear, and past mistakes, while cosmic forces embodied by Oya remind them of universal balance. Across all three seasons, Wicked City explores themes of power, responsibility, fear, and alignment, showing that actual influence—magical or personal—requires wisdom, heart, and moral integrity.
