Polo Storico, the in-house heritage vehicle restoration program launched last year by Lamborghini Automobili, debuted their first fully restored Lamborghini at the 2016 Amelia Concours d’Elegance. It is the pre-production Lamborghini Miura SV (Super Veloce - chassis #4846) that was first shown to the public at Geneva motor show in 1971.

PoloStoric restored the Miura just as it was presented at Geneva in 1971 and as such this SV has components that are not found in later production models.

On hand to reveal the Verde Metallizata (metallic green) Miura and discuss the program were Alessandro Farmeschi, Chief Operating Officer Automobili Lamborghini America, LLC and Enrico Maffeo, Head of PoloStorico. The four key departments of PoloStorico include the archiving and documenting Lamborghini cars and history, a spare parts for classic cars, vehicle certification, and heritage vehicle restoration.
