2 COLORS! Paint Watercolour REFLECTIONS, Harbour Sunset Landscape, Watercolor Seascape Tutorial DEMO

Today's demo is for a peaceful harbour sunset scene using just 2 colours, vermilion and indigo.

I used various brushes including the extra large and small Pro Arte Ron Ranson Hake brushes, 3/4" synthetic flat brush and a fine unbranded Chinese calligraphy brush, otherwise known as a rat liner, the hairs are about 1.5cm/1/2" long and it comes to a fine point, so any small round with a good point will do. I used masking tape for a nice clean horizon, but it is very important that you check you own paper with the tape first before painting, as some papers aren't suitable as they tear the paper when you try to remove the tape, so do check! My board is at an angle of about 45 degrees tilt.
My paper is 100% cotton Saunders Waterford, cold pressed, 140lb/300g weight, 11" x 15"/28cm x 38cm. Thanks for watching, and happy painting!
