Good afternoon everybody and Asalam-o-alekum!

On behalf of the US Mission in Pakistan, I would like to express my congratulations to AGMOR & JULLUNDUR Group for signing an exclusive partnership agreement today.
I am asserting this partnership will result in enabling local farmers to get easier access to environmentally friendly, cost-effective, and innovative products. hope to boost their yields and bring prosperity to families and their broader communities.

We are a strong advocate for direct business-to-business partnerships that not only act as a key enabler for promoting bilateral trade but also stimulate positive growth for local communities and I am pleased that US-Pakistan trade relations are following a strong growth trajectory.
The two-way trade during the past year exceeded 9 Billion Dollars and we look for seeing that number grow in the coming years.

Over the years, American companies have made significant contributions to developing the economy here in Pakistan by bringing in innovative products, like you see here today as well as investment in industrial infrastructure, automation, and investment in building the local skills system. US companies in Pakistan are employing over 150 thousand Pakistanis directly and over 1 million indirectly and the United States will continue to work with Pakistan to develop infrastructures, Skills, and capacity to meet the challenges of the future. And create more inclusive and sustainable economic growth bring forward.
I was particularly pleased when I heard about this partnership that was being signed today as a direct alliance with our US-Pakistan green alliance framework. As you may know, the two countries are working closely together on issues such as climate for agriculture, water management, and clean energy, and as we see today the private sector has a very important role to play in this effort.
So once again I would just congratulate AGMOR & JULLUNDUR Group as they start exciting a new chapter bringing innovation and enhancing productivity in the Pakistan agriculture sector.
