This CVA talks about how we helped our client, a US based financial services company by designing a self-serve automated recycle and code migration architecture, which helped their support team save 30% of staffing efforts!

Our client’s Support and Maintenance team manually handled 30% of incident/change request tickets for different platform architectures like Oracle WebLogic 11g, 12c and WebLogic Portal Application server container(s) to be recycled when needed. In order to perform this activity, the support team actively worked with the application teams requesting frequent recycles and migrations. During a typical weekend, about 30+ recycles were requested by different application support teams!

To overcome this challenge, our team designed a self-serve automated recycle and code migration architecture. This feature enables the application teams to schedule and execute code migrations while also recycling it on their own without the support team’s engagement.

This CVA helped save 6K hrs/year of manual efforts and that led to cost savings of over $150K/yr.
