Описание к видео Caltrain Stadler EMU move from CEMOF

On November 15th, 2022, Caltrain brought out one of their four delivered Stadler KISS EMUs from the CEMOF to San Jose Diridon station. The train set was put on display on the furthest platform at the station for the Commuter Rail Coalition Group to view and tour the new equipment. The private event also included short speeches and presentations.

It all started at 6am, when the dedicated train crew was to go on duty to tow the EMU to the Diridon. F40PH-2 JPBX917 "Gilroy" was assigned to be the locomotive used for said move. The crew then get the locomotive into position in front of the EMU, install a special coupler to the EMU coupler and attach the two. After a few morning trains pass and clear the main track, the crew then move the EMU out of the CEMOF to San Jose Diridon for the event.

After the event came to a close, the crew then made their way back to the CEMOF, shoving the EMU back to the storage tracks to collect dust for another few months until testing begins.

Hope you all enjoyed. Please make sure like, subscribe, favorite and share with your friends.
