This repair we will take a detailed look at a common low voltage complaint caused by a defective alternator. We find most of the time there are other problems in the charging system that should be addressed before you turn the key on a replacement alternator. We will take a detailed look at the most common cause(s) of this issue and simple remedies in Part I.

Part II We will install a new alternator and recondition the battery & terminal ends to bring the voltage back up to the factory spec of 14.50 VDC.
