Did you hear that? That was the sound of four CF6-80C2 engines roaring as a Lufthansa 747-430 flies low on approach to runway 06R at Toronto Pearson on November 25, 2024.

The Air Canada Cargo 767-333ER(BDSF)(WL) has a huge suffix. If you're wondering what the meaning is, it stands for BEDEK Special Freighter, Winglets. WL means winglets were retrofitted (pretty self-explanatory). But when airlines convert Boeing airframes from passenger to freighter, they can either get it converted by Boeing themselves, or an approved contractor, such as ST Aerospace, which would give them the BCF suffix, standing for Boeing Converted Freighter. However, airlines may also elect to get airframes converted at private contractors. In this case, it seems like Air Canada got C-GHLU converted by the Israeli company called BEDEK, so that's why it's suffix is BDSF.
