Joshua 12 | The Kings Defeated by Moses & Joshua

In this video, we hear about the triumph of both Moses and Joshua and the kings they defeated as God brought the people of Israel into the Promised Land. Through obedience and faith, Moses and Joshua led the people to possess what God had promised. This chapter reminds us to thank God for His provision and for guiding our paths, aligning every detail for our ultimate good, for all that God does is good.

Let us pray.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your forethought, Your omnipresence, and Your omniscience—Your ability to see the path ahead and the fullness of Your plan. Your Word tells us that You chose us in Christ “before the foundation of the world” (Ephesians 1:4). Thank You for loving us and preparing a way for us long before we even knew You.

We thank You for the provision You gave to Moses and Joshua, and for the supernatural faith and strength You placed within them as they faced giants and overcame kingdoms. Lord, we thank You for Your continued provision in our lives. Show us how You are present with us as we stand against the giants we face—things that seem too big for us to handle. With You strengthening us, we are able to move forward.

Your Word says, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path” (Psalm 119:105). We trust that the power of the blood of Jesus is able to pull down strongholds. So let us not walk in fear, but instead remember: “In everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God” (Philippians 4:6). Strengthen us for the battle, Lord, as we “put on the whole armor of God” so that we may stand against the fiery darts of the enemy (Ephesians 6:11,16).

We thank You, God, for this opportunity to reflect and relax while listening to Your Word. We plead the blood of Jesus over this video and over all who are listening and reading. Place a hedge of protection around them and bless their next steps as they align with Yours.
