The Dahlia Sewciety – Bespoke Box | Snow Queen | Unboxing | Aussie Sewing Vlog No.71

Hello there! A little bit late, but better than never 😉

I’ve said a few times that my videos are like a box of chocolates and I’ve put that to the test in today's video!

I’ve have two unboxings for you!

One our lovely bespoke fabric box from Kristen ‪@thedahliasewciety‬ and the second is something a little different.

I discovered a new to me, Australian skin care company called ‪@avirida6940‬ @avirida_green Located in NSW, they make natural and organic skin care products which they then package in wood jars they have milled themselves (how cool is that!). It gets better though, they use Camphor Laurel trees which are considered an invasive weed in the area and for each tree felled, they plant three native trees. I won't sing their praises any further and mention they recycle cardboard for their packaging and paper for their labels stuck down with cornstarch glue….. Anyway, I bought a couple of items to try and thought you might like to see them also.

Now for the star attraction, the fabric in the bespoke box is beautiful and you may have seen it already as I didn’t realise it was at the post office, I didn’t get a card in the letter box so it sat at the post office a week!

To round off this video, I have a very simple and easy recipe (don’t expect me to branch out into cooking videos!!). Random I hear you say, yeah it is! As it’s a wet, rainy and cold Saturday, I promised a hot lunch. It’s so simple I thought why not show you too!
