Forma Brands LLC, the parent company of makeup retailer Morphe LLC, filed for bankruptcy in Delaware on Thursday, with lenders including Jefferies Finance LLC and Cerberus Capital Management planning to take over.

In court documents, the company listed assets and liabilities totaling at least $500 million. The Chapter 11 filing allows Forma to continue operating while it seeks court approval of a restructuring plan, though the company has already stated that it will close all Morphe stores in the United States.
