An Old Car's Life By The Beach. 1974 Oldsmobile Cutlass S Junkyard Find

As soon as I walk around this this 1974 Oldsmobile Cutlass S in the junkyard I was willing to bet it came from the coast. The only panel that looked to have escaped that salt in the air was the deck lid which was a surprise. The interior was rough and missing the original seat. The floors were beyond swiss cheese. The header panel was destroyed. Under the rusty hood was what appeared to be a small block Olds 350 with number 8 heads. It was missing the intake manifold and carburetor which leads me to believe that it may have had an aluminum aftermarket intake and carb. It also had full length headers but they were pretty bent up. Being a 74 model it had the 73-74 Oldsmobile script valve covers which are somewhat sought-after. There was a full set of Oldsmobile rally wheels but as they were 14 inch I wasn't interested. I only like 15s.
