Carville's Message: "Damn glad you made it out alive, Monnage. We thought you kicked the bucket like most did in the opening days of the war. As you can see, none of this ain't looking so good; we're up against God knows how many armies, and our nuclear capabilities vanished overnight. Our naval base in Guam has fallen and, if it weren't for those few that held themselves together in San Fran and New York, we wouldn't be here. Grab yourself a mug of joe, you’re fixing for one wild ride.

The Confederation has joined the war, and we can't strike back even if we wanted to due to a series of Russian bases alongside the border with airstrike capabilities. We've managed to fend off most of their attacks, but the bulk of the fighting is here in Arizona; they're trying to assault Davis-Monthan Air Force Base. Now, what's in there is more than important for us - the boys at the lab have been working on some sort of stealth spy plane that would give us an edge over the Reds. With the best of our forces on the East Coast fighting the Soviets, I'm gonna have to send you some rookies from the Rockies. Re-establish contact with General Hargreave, get in, and get out with the prototypes. Our forces are limited, so don't expect much. But if you get out of this alive then there may be a promotion out for ya. Godspeed, Monnage."

Objective 1: Reach Davis-Monthan AFB.
Objective 2: Await for further instructions.

Note: Cpl. Shepherd must stay in action throughout the mission.
