How to grow Syngonium Pink Splash

Syngonium Pink Splash is a very colourful variety of goosefoot plant / vine that has pink and green variegation. These climbing plants are popular as houseplants due to their ease of indoor cultivation and bold colours.

BOTANICAL NAME: Syngonium podophyllum 'Pink Splash'
COMMON NAME(S): Goosefoot plant, Goosefoot Vine, Arrowhead plant
TYPE: Tropical climber
USE: Foliage Houseplant in cool climate regions / Garden plant in frost-free regions
COMPOST: Very free draining compost mix such as peat or cocopeat with added perlite or grit.
POSITION: Bright but indirect light
HEIGHT: 100cm (3ft) (plants can grow as tall as desired. Prune to maintain smaller size)
SPREAD: 30cm (12in)
PROPAGATION: Stem cuttings in early summer rooted in sandy/gritty compost or water.
TEMPERATURE : Minimum 10°C / 50°F Maximum 30°C / 86°F
WATER: Keep evenly moist year-round.
FERTILISER: Liquid feed given every 2-4 weeks in summer and once a month in winter.
EASE OF CULTIVATION: Very Easy
REMARKS: Grow in good light to maintain strong leaf colour.
Taller plants will need support to climb. Mosspoles or wooden stakes can be used.
