How Often do Homeschoolers Need to Socialize? | Raising A to Z

To be honest, while I’m conscious of getting my kids out and socializing regularly, I’ve never considered the question of how often or how much socialization kids actually need.

But after being asked numerous times in the span of just a few weeks, I figured I would find the answer. And I did!

While it’s nice to have a goal or a number of how much kids (and people in general) need to socialize, we need to remember that socialization doesn’t mean kids hanging out with kids exactly the same age. It means interacting with a wide variety of people in a variety of situations.
