Hi, welcome to Deaf Talks News.

All over India, some states are celebrating State Formation Day on November 1st.

This day is special because it marks the formation of several states based on language and culture.

Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, and Punjab are celebrating the state formation day.

Chhattisgarh is celebrating its 24th year of formation, as it was formed on 1st November 2000.

Haryana and Punjab were formed in 1966 and are celebrating their 56th state formation day.

Kerala and Madhya Pradesh are celebrating their 68th state formation day; it was formed in 1956.

Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh are also celebrating the state reorganisation on November 1st.

Do you know the history behind this? Let me explain.

Before 1956, many states in India were formed without considering the languages of the people living there.

This led to confusion and discontent among communities.

To address this, the Indian government set up the States Reorganisation Commission.

This group suggested that states should be organised based on language and culture.

Which led to the formation of new states on November 1st.

For example, Karnataka was formed for Kannada speakers, and Kerala was created for Malayalam speakers.

It's a day for people to come together, appreciate their culture, and remember the history that brought them into being as states.

Wishes to all the states for their state formation day.

I hope everyone understands.
