Rupp: “I mean, you're quite a bit slower.”
Smith: “Yeah, sure. He's retired, you know, and so he's appreciat-, he's enjoying that life and then these, these little monsters invade his domain again and he's not so happy. But, you know, they. I don't know, it just seemed to me that they evolved naturally into where they are now, and so have we.”
Rupp: “See we use us, you know, it's like I'm 20 years older too, so it's kind of easy. It's kind of easy. And we help, we have help from the writers, so, you know, we just jumped right into it.”

9. SOUNDBITE (English) Don Stark, actor:
"It's everybody that you know. When we did the pilot, people didn't need, a lot of shows need, oh, four or five episodes so you can kind of get the feel of it. The audience immediately knew who everybody was. Not in a stereotypical way, but just in the way of, it was your uncle, it was your father, it was your best friend, it was the stoner guy, and you knew who these people were and the relationships. I mean, it was magical. The audience just loved it from very beginning. Now it's repeating itself.”

(Reporter: “That's important.”)
“So it wasn't, it wasn't much of a stretch. It was like more like wearing nice clothes to come to the show, you know.”

“I mean, tonight I'm, I'm having a little bit of difficulty breathing. I'm very, I'm so
excited. But yeah, I'm, I'm just really excited for everyone to see it, being able to kind of take a step back and, and I've seen all 10 episodes and yeah, I mean, it's, it's so nice being able to see your work completed and see all the hard work that we put into it and I'm excited for everyone to see it.”
14. Wide shot cast, creators, producers, and directors pose for a group shot on the red carpet.
15. SOUNDBITE (English) Callie Haverda, actor:
“I mean, I definitely, I watched the show a lot to get the vibes of the, the family and my parents, obviously who I'm playing. I feel like we obviously get mannerisms from our parents that we are, you know, like that we, you know, you can just like tell that we're related to our parents. So I wanted to incorporate that. So I watched a lot of the show, but it was also important to me that Lea wasn't a carbon copy of Eric or Donna. So, it was hard trying to find, you know, who Lea was apart from her parents and who she was with her parents.”
