This video shows how to kill the Breaker boss in Days Gone. Breaker mutants become pretty common enemies later in the game, however the first encounter with this type of a freaker is treated as a boss fight. Deacon will have to defeat the Breaker boss during the Playing All Night main mission during which he travels to a crashed airplane to get the antibiotics.
It's highly recommended to take a sniper rifle for this mission, because you can headshot the Breaker and if you get lucky you'll score a critical hit. You should start the encounter by going left. Pick up the bear trap and set it up in the same location. Attack the Breaker and allow him to see you. Lure him to the trap and then use a shotgun or another powerful weapon to deal massive damage when he's trapped. Later in the fight it's good to stop close to explosive materials to blow them up when the Breaker is nearby. Try to avoid getting grabbed by the Breaker, because you will lose health and you'll have to complete the minigame to avoid even more damage.
