In this video, I will show you how to make a Jackfruit Malluma. This is a traditional Favourite among us Sri Lankans. This is a simple way to make village style Malluma for family and friends. I follow the ways of my Grandma when I was little.

The jackfruit tree is a famous and use-full tree becuase of the things it provides in one bunch. If you eat young Jackfruit, it is called Polos Ambula, which is a very famous dish in Sri Lankan Cuisine. Jackfruit is a delicious fruit, available in most regions of Sri Lanka. Becuase of all its uses and properties, it is called "බත්-ගස" or "bath-gasa" (Bath=rice, Gasa=Tree), meaning Jackfruit can replace rice in a meal.
