BJP targeted Rahul Gandhi over constitutional responsibility and said that global diplomacy is built on credibility not on entitlement.
“Everyone can see India and Russia’s time-tested friendship, a partnership the world openly praises. But there is always a group in India desperate to belittle our achievements and to amplify the fake Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and his manufactured narratives. Global diplomacy is built on credibility not on entitlement. Just because Rahul Gandhi comes from a particular family does not mean the world must take him seriously or give him a seat at every table. As the Leader of the Opposition, is Rahul Gandhi fulfilling his duties and obligations under the Constitution of our country? On 15 August 2025, Rahul Gandhi did not attend the Independence Day celebrations at the Red Fort and chose to visit the Congress office instead. He also missed the Republic Day parade... Recently, on 24 November, he even missed the oath-taking ceremony of the Chief Justice of India. Should the Leader of the Opposition not be present at such an important constitutional event? So despite being the Leader of the Opposition, he has missed several national events...,” said Gaurav Bhatia.“... Whenever a foreign dignitary visits, they can indicate if they wish to meet any individual. You can see in the pictures that Rahul Gandhi has met the ousted Bangladeshi PM Sheikh Hasina, the Prime Minister of Mauritius, and the Prime Minister of New Zealand.
