The fp-dc is a stitch I often use in my patterns. The tutorial shows how to work 1 fp-dc into a stitch, 2 fp-dc into 1 stitch, and crochet 2 fp-dc together (abbreviation: fp-dc2tog).
The only difference between a normal double crochet (dc) and a front post double crochet (fp-dc) is the way you insert. Hopefully this tutorial helps! :)
