This is a comprehensive recap of Dragon's Dogma, running over the main story beats and anything relative to the overarching story that may extend to Dragon's Dogma 2. The game's re-release, Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen, is unrelated to the main story from what I've read, so I did not include any of it. At the end of the day, if you don't have time to play all of the first game before Dragon's Dogma 2, this will get you caught up.
