Join me for a walk around the absolutely fascinating town centre of Accrington, one of the foremost industrial hubs of East Lancashire, and today a town filled with history! Located in an area once covered by forest, Accrington grew rapidly in the Industrial Revolution to become the great town it is today.

On our walk around Accrington, we pass a number of interesting landmarks, including Accrington Town Hall, Accrington Mechanics' Institution, Accrington Carnegie Library, the old Willow Street School, Blackburn Road, The Nag's Head Pub, The Railway Hotel Pub, Accrington Station, the former Manchester & Liverpool District Bank, Cannon Street Baptist Church, Accrington Conservative Club, St. James' Church, the Victorian Arcade, Warner Street, The Warner Arms, The Abbey Pub, Black Abbey Street, Eastgate, the old Police Station and Magistrates' Court, Abbey Street, The Arden Inn, The Black Horse, Accrington Post Office, Accrington Market Hall, The Brooks Club, The Commercial Hotel and Accrington Market Hall once again.
