Westzaan - Zaanse Schans The Netherlands | Travel VLOG

Zaanse Schans was one of the highlights of our trip. It is a unique location to visit and best known for its collection of well-preserved historic windmills and houses. From a distance you can see the sails of the windmills slowly turning, with extensive meadows in the background. It was a pleasant surprise to find a small enclosure here with some farm animals like adorable and chunky goats and chickens. Of course, this was a popular area for our children to hang out! My favorite part was visiting the farm shop. We made our way around it tasting every cheese. They were all so delicious and we were in cheese heaven!
