In this video we take a look at some games that excel at telling their story through their environment (in tandem with other forms of storytelling). These are among some of my favorite games of all time, Rain World is a one of a kind game, Hollow Knight is one of the best metroidvanias of all time, and Hyper Light Drifter is visual art in video game form.

Obviously no shade to any of the games from the intro, I was just making a point of the stark differences in ways to tell a story for a video game. And also I love Neon White, just wasn't into the story :D
